So my last day of work was on Friday, but still no R&R in sight for us gals. Today I had a meeting at 1000 with personnel to finish off some paper work. Then at 1300 I had a meeting for NANB to organize what is left to do about our nursing social for Nurses Week, which is officially going to be on May 10th. We have a good night planned, should be entertaining. Tomorrow I'm off to the dentist, something I have been putting off, but...my year is up. Wednesday I have a appt. with the dieticien, Thursday I have an ultrasound at 1300, then an appt. with Dr.Vogus afterwards. Finally We're off to Moncton for the weekend. We're not sure if we're gonna leave on Thursday evening or Friday morning, but Scott has to be in Sussex for 1230 on Friday afternoon. That's always a fun weekend as well...I'm also in desperate need of some spring fashion.
Amy, Landon and Hudson are coming home this week, but by the looks of it I might not get to spend a whole lot of time visiting. This week I also have to come up with a nursery theme, so I can at least start looking. I think I'm still going to go with yellow & brown for the room...and although they are sooo hard to find, I love bumble bees.
I better go put on supper, I'll post some pics as soon as I get some new ones. J

"La Fheile Padraig Sona" (Happy St. Paddy' s Day)

May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand."
Hi all. Just a little tribute to St. Paddy's Day. As most of us look at this day as just another occasion to drink beer, so beit if it is green, today is almost like a holiday for my family. Best memories are of my mom, gram and aunts at the Irish Festival in Chatham getting over excited 'cause they just found another "perfect" accessory to go with their March 17th attire. So ma, where are your green sparkly shoes anyway? Although this year for the first time I will not be touching the whiskey, I am almost sure it would not harm the little ones. I know this because my earliest recall of myself drinking Irish coffee was at the age of ...well let's just say I was a wee one!!
Gonna leave you all with a few pics from our trip to Ireland 2 years ago. I can't believe it's been that long already. The first few pics of the stone building is the house that my gram grew up in. Against what everyone thought would be in my best interest, I actually crawled about until I was able to get in. After I was in and deemed the area somewhat safe, everyone followed. We went through cupboards and drawers. Found some pretty neat things... that other one is of my mom and her cousin holding up a strange bottle they found inside the house. The rest are just of my gram's sister Nel's house where she lives with her son Liam and his wife Bridget, my gram and I on the shores of the Irish sea, and of course sheep...loads of sheep!!
and...
"May you get to heaven a half hour before the devil knows you're dead."

So, The R&R process has officially began. Last day of work was yesterday, and although I though I wouldn't be quite ready to go off work at 5 monthes, I was wrong!! At the end of the day my feet are even swollen and starting to feel picky... good indicator to stay off them. Scott is gone snowmobiling for the afternoon and I have nestled in with a few movies I have been wanting to watch.
I was at the theatre in Bathurst a few monthes ago and a preview for a movie came on, it seemed so familiar. It was almost like I had seen it before. Reason being, I had read the book about 3 years back. It was of the best books ever, "A Good Year" by Perer Mayle. Although the book is always beter than the movie, Russel Crow did a super job. The movie takes place in Provence France...a must read...or at least a must see!!
Sorry no news on the girls since my last post, I will be going for and U/S on Thursday, to Dr. Vogus office after, the to Moncton again on April 3rd. I'll make sure to keep you all updated on the latest, Jillian

As most of you have already heard...

Twin A & Twin B are officially Baby girl A & Baby girl B. Yep...two healthy little girlies. We had been so undecided about finding out the gender, but it's come down to preparations. Getting ready, both mentally and physically, for one is hard enough. But two... you can only buy so much yellow. So, in the end we caved. They are doing well...so far so good. They weigh 256 and 221 grams, which is just over 1/2 pound each. Their fluid levels are good, and their growth is similar, which is the reason we have to get checked so often. One of them is vertex (head down like she should be), but the other is breech (feet down). They might change position between now and then, but the chances of a c-section in my case are still very high. I also still may have to deliver in Moncton, but it all depends what happens between now and then.Yes, that picture that you see is definitly a leg. The doctor found it was so clear, she couldn't help but take a pic.
I'm actually starting to look forward to my time off. My last day is next Friday. I thought I would be bored, but some R&R will do me just fine. A few low key projects to do, like finally fill in my pregnancy book with all kinds of fun things (like the inability to go 4 hours without Froot-Loops). We also start pre-natal classes in April, I'm kinda looking forward that too.
I started to finally feel them move. Sunday night, and they have not stopped since...very busy gals. Oh, and last but not least...the much anticipated Moi !! For theose of you wondering, and I know you are, I have gained a total of about 24 Lbs so far. Sounds like alot, but it all seems to have gone where it's suppose to ...So far!!!

What a mess!!!
Being the good house wife that I am, I just decided I was going to do some laundry before I get into my jammies for the night...only to find that my 8.87 litle (78 load) Costco Tide has a leak in it, and not only that, I believe the leak has been there for a few days, 'cause there is freakin' Tide everywhere in my closet!!!
I once had a babysiter who spilled boiling milk (she was making my sister and I hot chocolate) all inside the burner of the stove. Myself, being around 4 or 5 years old asked her if it was going to stick...said to us "Does it stick?...Does it stick?...it sticks like shit to a blanket"!!! Well Shanna dear, ...So does TIDE!! I'm telling you I have never been in a mess like this before, it is even run down the back of the deep freeze. I was even nervous to put the clothes in the washer, because some of them are so saturated in soap, I'm scared the washer will EXPLODE!
That was my excitement for the night, needless to say my laundry basket has been chucked. I refuse to take the time to clean the inside of it...time for a new one anyway.
